About the Presenter: Dr. Noshir Khory Dr. Noshir Khory is presently Manager of Corporate Training at Motorola and a Member of the Adjunct Faculty at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago. In addition, he lectures at internationally renowned Institutes of Advanced Education including Stanford University in California and the National University of Singapore. He has delivered training in Quality, Manufacturing Technology and Productivity Improvement to major manufacturers of electronic, automotive and mechanical components within the U. S., Mexico, Europe and Asia. Dr. Khory has had the distinct privilege of working under the direction of the Late Dr. William Smith, who invented the Six Sigma concept at Motorola in the 1980’s. Subsequently, as part of the Six Sigma initiative at Motorola, he participated in a benchmarking effort (“Bandit Program”) to bring to Motorola some of the “best practices” deployed by world class companies such as Toyota, Canon Copier and Toshiba. His assignments for Motorola outside the U.S. have included, Japan, China, Germany, Sweden, France, Singapore and Israel. He has authored numerous technical papers for the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) and the International Hybrid Microelectronics Symposia (ISHM) in the areas of Six Sigma, Electronic Component Reliability, Statistical Process Control and Lean Production. He served as Chairman for the Quality and Reliability Chapter for the IEEE in 1986. He was a Member of the Operating Committee within the Electronic Industries Association (EIA) Electronic Components and Technology Section from 1990 through 1994. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, a Six Sigma Black Belt and is a TS 16949 (Automotive Quality Standard) Registered Lead Auditor. Rosalie Sager, MBA, is a senior consultant and Six Sigma Black Belt with GE Medical Systems, and has over 30 years experience in clinical, educational and administrative positions. Areas of expertise include standardization, utilization and process flow for cost management. Ms. Sager consults physicians, administrators and staff in process development, teamwork, analysis, consensus building and decision-making. Accomplishments include saving a large hospital system $1.3 million. Ms. Sager holds a Master of Business Administration, concentration in Healthcare Administration from City University in Washington, a Bachelors of Science in Community Health from New York Institute of Technology and graduated from the Nursing program at Beth Israel School of Nursing in New York.
